Parts of Speech Table

This is a summary of the 8 parts of speech*. You can find more detail if you click on each part of speech.

Interjection	short exclamation, sometimes inserted into a sentence	oh!, ouch!, hi!, well	Ouch! That hurts! Hi! How are you? Well, I don't know.

* Some grammar sources categorize English into 9 or 10 parts of speech. At English Club.com, we use the traditional categorization of 8 parts of speech. Examples of other categorizations are:

• Auxiliary Verbs (be, have, must)
• Determiners may be treated as a separate part of speech, instead of being categorized under Adjectives

Words with More than One Job

Many words in English can have more than one job, or be more than one part of speech. For example, "work" can be a verb and a noun; "but" can be a conjunction and a preposition; "well" can be an adjective, an adverb and an interjection. In addition, many nouns can act as adjectives.

To analyze the part of speech, ask yourself: "What job is this word doing in this sentence?"

In the table below you can see a few examples. Of course, there are more, even for some of the words in the table. In fact, if you look in a good dictionary you will see that the word "but" has six jobs to do:

• verb, noun, adverb, pronoun, preposition and conjunction.

Last weeks 5/2/2013- Tuesday we learned writing. Our lectures ask describing chart movements. Identifing the types of graphs, bar, chart, or line graphs, whether speed change and rank/ ranking. Besides, report/ graphs description:

Lectures also explains show to Analyzing  Data/ Identifying Data. Compare and contrast the data . Mark the highest and lowest, increase  and decrease. Where the most popular in the graph trend.

Every Tuesday, I have proficiency English II at 5.00 until 7.30 p.m. Every time my class will be provided with many interesting and surprise activities. My lectures name is Miss Norbaiti. My friends and I learn about runaway project. We have to design school shirt's design more like musical band for international or cluster school. Shirts with casual design is very comfortable and matching with weather in Malaysia. The cloth such an intelligence and interesting. Members of our group got 7.5/10 which is given by the lecturers. Our second presentation of the six groups.

I have a dream. Even if we fail, we do not give up. Although we have gone through failure, do not lost hope but keep on trying. Learn from mistakes and the past. Believe in our mercy God Allah S.W.T, pray and put more efforts. Even failure does not stop us from step forward towards success as life must be go on. Experience teaches us to move forward and help me to deal with many problems. Does not mean we failed once, we will fail forever. So, I must study hard from now and keep on trying, never give up hope an challenge myself to be in a list of dean rewards receive.

With dreams and encouragement from parents, lectures and friends insyAllah I can be successful and confident in myself. Parents hope for the best outcomes from their children so that they will be successful life and having a bright future to as they could live a good life afterwards. Doing a good deeds and beneficial things or activities. I learned all the important lessons for me for the future. “To reach the top you don't have a to be a bookworm! Just stay cool and give your best!”.

My role models are their parents and family. They inspire me to study hard and succeed. Besides, I like to have a degree and want to graduate on time. I do not be complacent and careless in any action. Learn not t to sit alone but for the future. I want parents proud with my success. People change and things go wrong. But, just remember life goes on. Dreams may come true.

    Need to learn  sacrifice, sincerity in order to what we do. I have a dream that is high but reasonable and attainable if I’m confident with my own abilities. Sometimes we all need a little motivation. Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate the blessings they already have. Retain what we learn by acting upon our knowledge, and retain what are believed by practicing. All I can do is try my best.

Today is my 14/1 started as normal unfortunately, the time table is so confious and hazy so many student argue and complient about the clash of their subject including myself . I fill so tired and terrible in away that my friend and i need to fine the correct lecture they are keep on changing classroom. After weeks the timetable to return back to normal and we enjoy our study.

   Introduce myself I am Nurul Najwa bt zainal Abidin. I study at University Selangor, Shah Alam. I take a course Diploma In Administrative Management. My purpose writing this blog is to practice writing skill and to learnt to do essay besides for assignment. 

   On new year my BFF birthday my little princess "anisa putri " my friends update their status wishing happy new year because she was born on 1st January. During the mid-term break I usually help my parents doing housework  before entering my new semester I have already plan. My target to achieve a goals of my a academic future. I target to improve my study as well as my CGPA pointer about 3.00 at above. So I must study hard from now and keep on trying , never give up hope an Challenger myself to a be in a list of dean rewards receive.
